Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 apples, peeled and sliced

For the caramel:
3 tbsp butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder. Add eggs, oil, milk, vanilla and mix.

In a small skillet melt the butter, and add the sugar on medium heat. Bring to a boil then add heavy cream. Take off the heat and pour into a round baking dish. Add the apples in a single layer on top of the caramel. Pour the batter on top.

Bake for 30 minutes or until top is golden. Flip onto a plate and enjoy!
