Ingredients:

3 cups Flour

3 tbsp Sugar

4 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 tsp Salt

3/4 cup Butter, cold abs cubed

4 tbsp Chives, chopped

1 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded

1 cup Buttermilk

1 Egg

 


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Work the butter into the mixture until it is the size of peas. Add in the chives and cheddar and mix with a fork until combined. Add in the butter milk and incorporate into a dough. Scoop out into biscuits (I used an ice cream scoop) onto a prepared baking sheet and bake for around 15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
