Project Description

Ingredients:

1 cup warm Water

3 tbsp Sugar

2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

3 cups Flour

1 tsp Salt

3 tbsp Olive Oil

1 Egg

5 tbsp melted Butter

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

2 tsp dried Parsley

 


Instructions:

Mix together the warm water, sugar and yeast and set aside to rest for 5 minutes. Add the flour, salt, olive oil and the yeast mixture to a stand mixer and knead for 10 minutes. Place dough in an oiled bowl and cover and let rest for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough into about 1/2 inch thick and cut out about 10-15 breadsticks. Cover with a towel and rest another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place the breadsticks onto an oiled baking sheet and brush with the egg, beaten with 1 tbsp of water. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Combine the melted butter, garlic powder and parsley in a bowl and brush on the breadsticks. Enjoy!
