Ingredients:

1 tbsp Chili Powder

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

2 tsp Mustard Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Cumin

1 tbsp Brown Sugar

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

1 3-4 lb Beef Brisket

1 1/2 cups Beef Stock

 

 

 


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine the chili powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, onion powder, cumin, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Place the brisket in a roasting dish and rub the spice mix all over the meat. Bake for one hour. Take out of the oven and add the beef stock around the meat. It should come about 1/2 inch up the sides of the pan. Cover the pan with tin foil and lower the oven temperature to 300 degrees. Bake for around 3 hours or until fork tender. Let rest for a few minutes then slice the meat and place back in the juices to serve.
