Ingredients:

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Brown Sugar

2 cups Flour

1/4 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 stick Butter

1/4 cup Peanut Butter

1 cup Water

1/2 cup Buttermilk

1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

For the frosting:

3/4 cup Butter

1/2 cup Peanut Butter

6 tbsp Buttermilk

3 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

 


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl whisk together both sugars, the flour, salt and baking soda. In a small pot over medium heat add the butter, peanut butter, and water. Bring to a boil then add to the dry ingredients. Once combined, add the buttermilk and vanilla extract. Pour into a sheet pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

For the frosting, in a small pot add the butter, peanut butter and buttermilk. Bring to a boil. Add to a stand mixer with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Whip until combined and fluffy. Pour on top of the sheet cake and let cool slightly. Enjoy!
