Project Description

Ingredients:
4 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 1/4 cup Water
3/4 cups Scallions, diced
3 Mushrooms, diced
3/4 cup Napa Cabbage, diced
1 pound Ground Pork
1 tbsp Ginger
2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp White Pepper
3 tbsp Canola Oil

For the sauce:
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Rice Vinegar

Instructions:
Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the water and mix to form a dough. Pour onto a floured surface. Roll out the dough into a lot and cut into four equal parts. Roll one of those parts into a 1 inch log. Cut into 6-8 pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle and set aside. Repeat with the rest of the dough.

In a large bowl, combine scallions, mushrooms, Napa cabbage, pork, ginger, sesame oil and white pepper. Add one tbsp of the filling mixture to each wrapper and dab water on the edge of the wrapper to seal. Repeat with the rest of the filling and wrappers.

Heat the oil in a large sauce pan on medium high heat and place around 6 potstickers in the pan at a time. Cook until the bottoms are brown, then add a few tablespoons of water and close the pan. Steam for a few minutes until the potstickers are cooked through. Repeat with the rest.

For the dipping sauce, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar and stir. Enjoy!
