Ingredients:
2 lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
2 tbsp Butter, plus more for the baking dish
1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Whole Milk
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 tsp Thyme
Pinch of Nutmeg
Salt & Pepper
1 cup Gruyere, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add the potatoes, butter, heavy cream, milk, garlic, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper to a large skillet. Simmer 5-10 minutes until potatoes are almost cooked through. Take off the heat and add both cheeses. Mix thoroughly and place in a buttered baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
