Ingredients:
2 cups Strawberries, sliced
1 cup Butter, softened
1 1/2 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 1/2 cups Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt

For the Frosting:
1/2 lb Butter, softened
3 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Milk

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor, blend strawberries to form a purée. In a stand mixer, combine butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add the eggs in, one at a time. Add the vanilla and mix to incorporate. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add that to the mixer and combine. Finish the batter by adding the strawberry purée and mixing until incorporated.

Pour into two greased and parchment-lined 9-inch baking rounds and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. While the cakes are baking, combine the butter and powdered sugar in a stand mixer. Add the milk slowly and combine.

Once the cakes are done baking, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Frost the cake and enjoy!
